New Emory Courses on Coursera Platform

This fall marked the addition of several new massive open online courses to the Coursera platform. New courses include:

Finance for Non-Financial Managers
Taught by Thomas Smith, Assistant Professor in the Practice of Finance, Goizueta Business School

Foundations of Marketing Analytics (6-course specialization)
Taught by David Schweidel, Associate Professor of Marketing, Goizueta Business School

Health in Complex Humanitarian Emergencies
Taught by Dabney Evans, Assistant Professor, Rollins School of Public Health, and Cyrus Shahpar, Assistant Professor, School of Medicine
In collaboration with the Center for Disease Control & Prevention

Additionally, Ellen Ott Marshall, Associate Professor in the Candler School of Theology is currently developing a Coursera course on conflict transformation. Dr. Marshall's course has been selected for Coursera’s Education for Social Impact Campaign this spring. This campaign aims to connect learners with high-quality, socially conscious content that equips them with the skills they need to be drivers of social change. The course will be featured at the Coursera Partner’s Conference this March.
