Sept 26: Wikipedia in Higher Ed Workshop

Wikipedia in Higher Education Symposium & Workshop on Wednesday, September 26 in the Woodruff Library Jones Room. This event is co-sponsored by Emory Libraries, the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship, and the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence.

This full-day (9:30 am–4:30 pm) event will feature several speakers on the topic of teaching with
Wikipedia and editing it in an academic context. In the afternoon, we'll have a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to edit Wikipedia articles of interest to you. This event is for faculty, graduate students, and others involved in teaching at Emory (IDs, librarians, etc.) Attendees are encouraged to stay for all or part of the event as they are able.

Coffee, a light breakfast, and lunch will be served.
