Elise Bezold is the graduate assistant for learning design and technology. Broadly, she assists Emory faculty and staff in course design and technology to enhance student engagement. She also contributes to the development of leadership resources for faculty and staff. Elise is passionate about teaching and ensuring that all students receive an equitable education so that they have access to the tools they need to succeed.

Elise is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry, and her research centers on the development of novel disinfectants to combat antimicrobial resistance. Elise earned her B.S. in chemistry from Northern Kentucky University (2022) and is a Women in Natural Sciences Fellow (2022) and an ARCS Scholar (2024).
