Overview & Mission

The CFDE is dedicated to assisting faculty at every level of their career, from junior faculty to full professor, and in the lecture, tenure, and clinical tracks.

With its mission to support faculty expansively framed, the CFDE is distinctive. We support faculty in all aspects of their career: research and scholarship; teaching and pedagogy; and professional development. The CFDE offers one-on-one consultations as well as seminars, workshops, presentations, funding opportunities, and online resources on a diverse set of topics, including teaching and pedagogy; online learning; research, writing, and publishing; community-engaged learning; and professional development.

We welcome your comments and insights on all aspects of faculty life at Emory, and ideas for fulfilling our mission in new and creative ways. Please do not hesitate to contact meDirector of Diversity and Inclusive Pedagogy Donna Troka, or Director for Research and Scholarship Allison Adams
