Maggie Dryden
Graduate Assistant Editor
Maggie Dryden is a PhD student in Emory’s English Department where she studies American poetry. She was born and raised in metro Atlanta and is a double Dawg, having received both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Georgia. Her research mostly deals with editorial and archival theories and poetry manuscripts, utilizing Emory’s vast poetry archive, and her current first-year writing course argues that reading poetry in its various contexts offers readers a window into writing (and reading) as a complex process.
