Coming Soon: "Pre-Texts" Workshops

Over the past year, director of engaged learning Vialla Hartfield-Mendez established a collaboration with the Cultural Agents Initiative at Harvard University, and was trained to facilitate "Pre-Texts" workshops. Pre-Texts is an "artist/educator training program that combines high-order literary, innovation, and citizenship" in a simple protocol derived from community-based practices in Latin America. After using this pedagogy in her own course last spring, Vialla facilitated a series of workshops in the summer for faculty, graduate students and staff members; stay tuned for future workshops.
