The Center for Faculty Development and Excellence and the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship are partnering to present “Connect with Teaching,” a showcase of faculty who are using innovative digital technology to support learning in their classrooms.
Three faculty presenters will talk for about 15 minutes each about their teaching and learning with technology experiences, followed by a Q&A session. All are invited to come learn and talk about ways that digital technology mingles with teaching.
- MaryJane Lewitt, Assistant Clinical Professor of Nursing: Using Canvas in the classroom
- Sandra Blakely, Associate Professor of Classics: Using gaming to explore the archeological site of Samothrace and the Greek’s trading resources
- Michael Broyde, Professor of Law: Developing and filming lectures for flipped lessons
