Summer Teaching Intensive
Some 65 faculty attended the CFDE's second two-day teaching workshop August 10-11. Session topics emerged from common requests during teaching consultations. Repeat sessions included engaging students in large classes, teaching with technology, navigating difficult discussions, and teaching with primary evidence. New sessions included active learning strategies, handling the paper load: responding to student writers, and best practices for developing multiple choice questions.
