A Decade of the CFDE

How has the CFDE changed the way you write, teach, think, lead, or engage broader communities? 

In 2008, then-provost Earl Lewis created the Center for Faculty Development and Excellence (CFDE). The focus was in four key areas: research, teaching, scholarly writing, and intellectual community. Now ten years later, the CFDE has grown to include community engaged learning, online education, mentoring, and leadership. We offer consultations and trainings, award grants, and facilitate workshops. Through our writing groups, learning communities, and university courses we bring people together from across the university. 

We are asking those that have utilized our services to answer one question. How has the CFDE changed the way you write, teach, think, lead, or engage broader communities?

Responses will be posted on the CFDE 10 Year Anniversary display located outside of our suite (2nd floor of the Woodruff Library).  Please stop by in late January to see how the CFDE has helped others like you.
