Oct 28: Tumultuous Times on Campus

Helping Students Navigate the 2020 Election

The 2020 election is taking place amid growing polarization in the US, divisive rhetoric, nationwide protests for racial justice, and a deadly global pandemic. These factors, among others, can make discussions about the election difficult and fraught. In this webinar we will discuss how the trauma of these events may be shaping our students’ experiences of the election. We will also offer up some strategies and suggestions for managing the stress of the elections inside the classroom and across campus.
