Inclusive Pedagogy Initiative

Historically, the CFDE's Inclusive Pedagogy Initiative has focused on strategies for making our classrooms and campus broadly accessible spaces in which all students can fully participate and actively learn. We have achieved this aim through discussions of stereotype threat, implicit bias, microaggressions, and neurodiversity (among other topics).

More recently, in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic and continued violence against Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC), we have included discussions of anti-racist pedagogy, decolonizing your syllabus/curriculum, and trauma-informed pedagogy.
