Between the Therapy Hour and the Classrooms: Taking a Closer Look at Student Mental Health and Learning in 2022

Students are showing un-precedented levels of disengagement in their classes and assignments. Student activism for mental health is getting louder and louder. Counseling center across the nation are seeing students in more distress. Dr. Jane Yang and Dr. Gary Glass of the Emory and Oxford Counseling Centers, respectively, will offer their observations on the mental state of students over the past two years, with particular attention to how their struggles shed light on their academic experience.
