Course Design 101
Developing a new course or renovating an existing one?
The purpose of this Fall 2021 program is to introduce faculty to the course design process as they develop a new course or undergo and major course renovation for an upcoming semester. Each session, we will introduce a step in the process with a strong focus on course alignment, accessibility, and universal design for learning. With the remaining time, participants will work on that component of their course with a partner or independently.
Six sessions will be scheduled every other week to give participants time to complete each step of the process. In the off week, working sessions will be held at the scheduled time for questions or extra work time. Courses will be developed in Canvas.
